EMZ is a graphic file format typically used by Microsoft-developed applications like Visio and the Office suite. EMZ files basically contain an Enhanced Metafile (EMF file) which has been compressed using the GZIP compression method.

Users will be able to decompress EMZ items with a compatible software application than access the EMF file with a dedicated graphic viewer.

When users want to access an EMZ file without decompressing it, they will need specialized tools.

These applications will help users to preview the vector image without extracting its contents.
